Celebrate Christmas at the Blue Pig with our fabulous Christmas Festive Fayre Menu which is available from November 30th to December 23rd.

Bookings are advisable as we are likely to be very busy.

THE BLUE PIG – CHRISTMAS FAYRE MENU

STARTERS:-

Soup Of The Day – A delicious bowl of todays special soup

Prawn and Crayfish Cocktail –  Juicy north Atlantic prawns and crayfish served on a bed of iceberg lettuce with brown bread and butter.

Breaded Mushrooms – Mushrooms breaded and deep fried served with a garlic mayonnaise dip

Pate – A generous slice of Ardennes Pate served with toast and salad garnish

Chicken Goujons – Chicken fingers breaded and deep fried to perfection with a pot of mayonnaise on the side.

MAINS:-

Roast Turkey along with all the trimmings including the pigs in blankets stuffing and seasonal vegetables.

Rump Steak in a rich red wine sauce

Vegetable Lasagne:- Mediterranean vegetables bound together in a rich béchamel sauce.

Cod and Chips: – A fresh prime cod fillet drenched in our very own beer batter

Burger Surprise:- Two meaty patties loaded with fried onions and cheese topped with our very own homemade beer battered onion rings.

DESSERTS:-

Christmas Pudding  the classic topped with brandy sauce

Lemon Meringue Pie A slice of Zesty lemon meringue in a shortcrust pastry case topped with cream

Today’s Cheesecake Served with Ice cream

Chocolate Lumpy Bumpy  A chocolate Sponge with a crème patisserie middle then topped with pecans and walnuts


CHRISTMAS DAY – MENU

Our Christmas Day Menu is for one sitting to start at 2pm for a relaxed affair expecting to finish around 6pm. Booking is essential for our Christmas Day.

A delicious sorbet to cleanse the palate for the main event

Roasted succulent turkey breast with all the trimmings

Roasted Sirloin of Beef with a horseradish glaze
